REAP and McDowell County Solid Waste Authority
The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection Rehabilitation Environmental Action Plan and the McDowell County Solid Waste Authority are holding a series of community cleanups where residents of McDowell County will be able to dispose of the following items: tires, furniture, building debris, appliances, electronics, and any other outside clutter. However, we WILL NOT accept hazardous waste or any free-flowing liquids.
The following locations are scheduled:

Old AJ’s Grocery site in Northfork
August 8, 2018 | 8:00AM-4:00PM
Behind Southside Elementary in War
August 22, 2018 | 8:00AM-4:00PM
Lot beside Iaeger City Hall
- Only in-state residential tires (NO BUSINESSES) will be accepted.
- There is a 10 tire per person limit.
- All tires must be OFF the rim.
- Only passenger car and light duty truck tires will be accepted.
PLEASE STAY WITHIN YOUR LOCALITY. WE WILL BE CHECKING IDs AND NO BUSINESSES ARE PERMITTED.
